h4. Internal Archive Services (MBeans)

[MBean Services|Services (MBeans)]: dcm4chee utilizes the JBoss XMBean infrastructure to supply services to internal business logic.  An XMBean is basically a JMX MBean that JBoss has built a lifecycle management framework around, which includes useful base functionality.  Within dcm4chee these services are accessed directly via JMX MBeanServer invocations.  Some of them are fronted by an EJB facade in order to provide public access to the services.  This section contains a brief overview of this architecture, with links to wiki pages for each of the individual services.
