Unless previously decided and stated, dcm4che sub-projects shall maintain compatibility with JDK 5.0. The exception is dcm4che14, which remains at a 1.4 . This includes dcm4che14, compatibility for now. dcm4che2, and dcm4chee dcm4chee 2.x. dcm4chee 3.x and Xero are the only projects currently able are able to use JDK 5/6.
