Code signing
Weasis binaries available on sourceforge are signed with a trust-worthy certificate from a certificate authority. First launch of the application through Java Web Start will show this message:
On Mac OS X 10.8 - Mountain Lion
A trusted certificate is now required on Mountain Lion to run Java Web Start applications without changing the security level of the system.
DICOM LUT
This release is able to read modality LUT sequence and VOI LUT sequence. The preset list can now contain several DICOM presets. A combo box "LUT Shape" allows to switch to a non-linear ramp: sigmoid, sigmoid normalize, logarithmic, logarithmic inverse and DICOM VOI LUT sequence.
Non DICOM Images
In menu File, it is now possible to open an image (TIFF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, PNM) and to perform measurements on it.
